The north of Peru, flanked by forests of carob trees, the sand and the water of its seas, shows to its visitors the imposing legacy of its men, expressed through its inhabitants, who have made of this part of Peru: land of great cultures, skilled potters, imposing buildings, exquisite food, tradition, and many more reasons that will make your visit an unforgettable experience.
Day by Day
- Arrival in Trujillo.
- Our first visit begins with Chan Chan (from the muchik Jang-Jang, sun-sun), which is the largest pre-Columbian adobe citadel, built on the north coast of Peru by the Chimú culture. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986.
- Lunch at the seaside resort of Huanchaco, with an open menu of dishes based on seafood.
- At the end of lunch we will meet one of the living testimonies of Hispanic-American miscegenation, we refer to the Peruvian Paso Horse, considered one of the finest horses in the world for its elegance and cadence.
- Transfer to your accommodation.
- Free dinner and overnight.

- In the morning we leave for the city of Chiclayo. En route we will visit the El Brujo Archaeological Complex, an ancient ceremonial center located in the Chicama Valley, where the legacy of 5,000 years of human occupation can be seen. This space highlights the history of who was the lady with the greatest power in the Mochica culture – The Lady of Cao – who is believed to have ruled the north of present-day Peru in the fourth century A.D., the Lady of Cao, exposing the high role she fulfilled women in this culture.
- We will continue the journey to the Pacasmayo spa, where we will have lunch or a box lunch en route.
- Then, we will continue with our private transfer to Chiclayo.
- Arrival in Chiclayo and transfer to selected accommodation.
- Rest of the afternoon free.
- Free dinner and overnight.

- We will visit the Pómac Forest Historical Sanctuary, the most representative dry forest of this ecosystem in the world, which is also the space that housed the “Lambayeque” culture or also called “Sicán”, one of the most representative of the north coast of the Peru, and that today combines the archaeological legacy with the singular diversity of the dry forest that will allow us to observe flora and fauna.
- Then head to Túcume, where we will be surprised by the exquisiteness of the northern cuisine, expressed in its different dishes inspired by the inputs that nature provides in these warm lands.
- We continue our tour in Túcume, where we can find the Archaeological Complex and its Valley of the Pyramids, made up of 26 pyramids and religious complexes over 220 ha. Túcume is the largest open-air archaeological complex in the world, in the middle of an arid desert with a beautiful dry forest of carob trees. In Túcume we can also see its recently inaugurated Site Museum, which won the «Best World Project» award in the framework of the World Travel Market 2015.
- At the indicated time, departure transfer to the airport, where they will board the plane to their city of origin.
