Day by Day
- Embark on a unique 7-hour hike, exploring panoramic views from Zone X to the Qoricocha Lagoon. Enjoy an ecological lunch overlooking Cusco and the sacred mountains. Immerse yourself in ethnobotany as we ascend the Patabamba pass and reach the cozy community of Tejedores de Patabamba. Experience a local dinner and an authentic night.
- Altitude: 2800 to 3900 meters above sea level.
- Start your day with an elegant breakfast and a weaving demonstration in Patabamba. Embark on a scenic hike along the Sacred Valley Balcony, reaching the peaceful Pukamarka pass. Descend to the charming community of Pukamarka to enjoy lunch in an archaeological setting.
- Gracefully traverse the majestic canyon of Leonpunku, exploring ancient Inca trails and bridges. Continue into the Sacred Valley, delighting in the native flora until you reach the evocative archaeological complex of Huchuy Qosqo.
- Embark on a descent to Lamay, where the panoramic view of the Sacred Valley unfolds majestically. Later, a short transfer by local cab takes us to Hanaq Chuquibamba, a refuge on the banks of the serene Urubamba River, where a distinguished experience awaits us with an exquisite dinner and a memorable night.
- Start the day with an early breakfast at Hanaq Chuquibamba, where we will discover the refined art of Peruvian basket weaving throughout history. Participate in an exclusive basket weaving activity with the community, exploring the preparation and development of different models.
- Then, transfer to the serene Kimsacocha lagoon in the community of Paru Paru. Enjoy a short explanatory walk about the potato park, agricultural diversity and the importance of ecological floors. Continue to the Lamas farm, where our guide will share knowledge about the society and economy of the Alpaca and Llama breeders.
- Delight yourself with a nutritious lunch prepared with care by the women of the community, followed by the presentation of Andean products. The day concludes with an exquisite dinner and an unforgettable night in Paru Paru.
- Embark on a fascinating day with an early breakfast that will mark the beginning of our journey. From the community, we descend to Amaru, where we will explore the Cultural Center, immersing ourselves in the intriguing Iconography Tables and the captivating display of color made with flowers, leaves and earth, elements that will come to life in our later demonstrations.
- After a memorable lunch, we will travel to Pisaq to enter its majestic archaeological center. This complex, located 33 km west of the city of Cusco, reveals its splendor with walls of imposing polished stone blocks and extraordinary symmetry. Pisaq, with its architecture that evokes respect and awe, transports us to the grandeur of a lost empire.
- We will return to Cusco, taking with us the memories of an unforgettable day, ready for a night of rest and reflection in this city full of history and mystery.
